A showroom for the wine lovers

Every month we select the showcase of the month. It can be a wine cellar, a wine room or a beautiful installation of a wine cooler.

Love of wine

When love for wine meets a creative soul, the result can only be good. At least that’s how René decided that a wine room should be incorporated into the house he was about to build.
The wine room is not only a storage space for René’s best bottles – it is also an aesthetic oasis that blends in with the rest of the house’s design and expression.
With herringbone parquet in both the wine room and the house’s other rooms, continuity has been created in the design.

René himself has designed the wine room in our (ed. Wineandbarrels) design programme. In this online interior design tool, you can also decorate your new wine cellar or wine room yourself. You can experiment with different furniture, wine racks and storage options, and René did so until he found the perfect combination.

René is proud of his wine room and is happy to invite friends and guests to share his passion. “It’s pure clay,” he says about the room himself. With space for around 450 bottles, this wine room almost functions as a personal showroom for Rene’s wine experiences. The Champagne sabre bears witness to moments of partying and celebration, and the Vin Atlas reference work is ready. René has really succeeded in creating a playground for festive wine lovers.

“It’s pure clay...”
