An elegant addition to the kitchen
Every month we select the showcase of the month. It can be a wine cellar, a wine room or a nice installation of a wine cooler.

Lasses built-in wine fridge
The decoration behind the wine cooler began when Lasse moved into his new home on Østerbro in Copenhagen. Before, he had never thought of having a wine cooler, as for him wine is 'just' something you drink and not store. But since the previous owner had had a wine cooler standing in the kitchen (albeit a somewhat larger version), the idea was planted and it quickly took shape.
Therefore, Lasse began to explore the possibility of a smaller wine cooler that could better suit the needs of the household.
After consulting with experts at Wineandbarrels, Lasse decided on a built-in wine cooler from Pevino, which would also add more oak to the otherwise dark kitchen.
The solution in the kitchen was designed and built by a joiner, so nothing was left to chance and the wine fridge was given a central location in the large kitchen living room in the apartment.
Pevino Majestic has beautiful pull-out shelves in light beech wood and a black glass front. ''The design was just really nice.'' Says Lasse with a smile. The 39 bottles that the wine cabinet holds are a perfect number of bottles, and the 2 zones mean that there is always ready-to-serve wine whether Lasse offers champagne, white wine or red wine.
“We not only wanted a wine fridge that was functional, but also aesthetically pleasing.”

The choice of wine cooler was of decisive importance
But it doesn't stop here. The wine cooler from Pevino also has nice LED lighting, with the option of choosing a color in the wine cabinet. In the beginning, Lasse used the white light, but now: "I'm happy with the muted orange, which gives a nice warm light and adds a cozy atmosphere to our kitchen." Elaborates Lasse.
Pevino Majestic belongs to the premium segment and also has a very low noise level which makes it useful in a kitchen or living room.
Thus, the built-in wine cooler became not only a practical addition to Lasse's new home, but also a beautiful design element that fits perfectly into the kitchen.
