Half wine barrel 225 liters - French oak - used

Halved used French oak wine barrel – perfect adding character and charm to your garden. Plant your favourite flowers or trees in this is frost-free pot, or use as a water basin for birds and other wildlife.

Over time, the barrels age naturally when exposed to all seasons – see above photo.

Please note that some barrels may have a (removable) chestnut hoop at the bottom of the barrel – a typical characteristic of Bordeaux wines. And some barrels might have a hole already drilled in the bottom of the barrel (perfect for draining of plants).

Please note that the wood will dry out if it is not kept moist, which can cause the wood to crack and the barrel belt to loosen. We therefore recommend keeping the barrel moist from when the product is received.
